Experimental quantification of the rapid movement of elastic materials during unloading using high speed videography.

We track dots on a stretched soft material as it recoils after release, and use high-speed camera data together with force sensor measurements to understand how material properties, load mass, and geometry affect the dynamics of elastic recoil.
